Bob Wachter's 13th annual Hospital Medicine course

--will be held September 24-26 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco (pdf brochure here). The keynote speaker will be Captain Sullenberger, the pilot who landed US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River, saving untold lives. What does he have to do with hospital medicine, you ask? Read Bob's post and find out.

This year's program promises, once again, to be outstanding. A meeting of this quality with all its enhancements (top notch faculty, superb facilities, multiple break out sessions, audience response system) could never survive without industry support. If you've never been to this superb conference it may be your last chance to go before the pharmascolds shut it down!
